Premier's Storm Appeal The Queensland Government has launched an appeal fund to help the people of Brisbane’s suburbs belted in Sunday’s freak storm.
“I urge everyone to dig deep and help Queenslanders who have suffered in the devastation wreaked by the storm,” Premier Anna Bligh said this afternoon.
“From tomorrow they can donate to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal Fund at any of the big four banks (Commonwealth, Westpac, NAB, and ANZ) and at Suncorp Metway and the Bank of Queensland.  | |
